Breckland Thyme

·         Description: It is a short woody plant that has fragrance flowers which are pinkish purple, lilac or rarely white. This type of thyme can grow up to 2 cm long with round shape evergreen leaves.

·         Parts Used: Leaves and flowers

·         Components: It contains pale yellow color essential oil consist of carvacrol, thymol, pinene.

·         Harvest Time: May to September when the plant flowered.

·         Geographic spread:  It is found in the Mediterranean region and Anatolia.
