  • General Definition: The shell is rough, yellowish-brown suckers are puberulent first, then hairless, 4 corner, olive green in color. The leaves are elliptical, full-edged, 1-3 cm long,skinny upper side is bright green,lower side is yellowish green in color.
  • Used Parts: Because of the beautiful view and the pleasant smell of the leaves, they are used as ornamental plant. It is used in wood carving.
  • Active Ingredients: There are alkaloids, volatile oil, resiniterous compounds and tannin in the leaves and in the shell of the branches.

  • Spreading Area:  It is seen on the northward slopes of the mountains with a humid and temperate climate in Northern Anatolia.
